WEAVER’S NOTES

In creating these throws, cotton yarns were tied off in sections and dyed creating a space dyed effect. The resulting texture tricks the eye into blending the colors together, a technique known as IKAT. Ms. Sengamphone, Ms. Phengsamone and Ms. Pheng of the Taileu tribe made these wovens for you on handmade looms.

CARE

Dry clean. Or wash in cold water, gentle cycle with mild detergent and line dry. Natural dyes can release color after the first wash or two. Wash separately.
